We’re a design-driven brand with an ever-evolving collection that’s as stylish as it is practical. From our signature ribbon hats and trendy fedoras to cozy knits and colorful sun protection gear, every piece is made to elevate your everyday look.

But we don’t stop at hats. Our brand is growing with Four Buttons, a fashion-forward, value line of must-have styles, and Bay Sky, our curated collection of bags and scarves. The perfect finishing touch to any outfit.

Where it all began

Our story started with a single hat. The Original Cotton Crochet Hat, dreamt up during a trip to Bali in 1993. Inspired by a love of travel and a passion for design, our founders turned a San Diego garage into a hub of creativity and launched a brand that’s now recognized around the globe.

Incredibly, those very same cotton crochet hats are still handcrafted today in the same village in Bali, staying true to the craftsmanship and tradition that launched our journey over 30 years ago.

Today, we call a 50,000-square-foot space in Carlsbad, California home, with distribution across major department stores and over 3,000 specialty boutiques worldwide.
